Genshin Impact Banner Update: Fans Demand Changes to 2.3

Genshin Impact Banner Update: fans want changes to the game’s banner, which would make it easier to get 5-star characters.

The Genshin Impact banner is a permanent feature that allows players to obtain all characters and weapons not exclusive to the event. Although new 4-star characters are constantly being added, unlocking units such as Mona, Diluc, Keqing, Jean, and Qiqi can be incredibly frustrating.

This is especially true because none of these 5-stars currently have their own banners or exclusive event replays, making maxing out their constellations extremely difficult. However, a simple change would make this process a little easier for those who roll on the standard banner.

Fans want Genshin Impact banner update

Genshin Impact Banner Update

Genshin Impact is constantly expanding its roster of colorful characters, and each new update brings with it a new 5-star or a long-awaited rerun. In addition to these exclusive event banners, the free-to-play title also features weapon banners that players can use to unlock powerful items.

Unlike the character banners in Genshin Impact, the Weapon Event Wishes feature a unique mechanic called “Epitomized Path.” This is a special wish mechanic that allows travelers to trace a path to a specific 5-star promotional weapon.

Once the player has selected the weapon they wish to obtain, they will earn a Fate Point upon receiving a 5-star weapon other than the one they chose. When a total of two Fate Points have been earned, the next 5-star weapon will be the one chosen through the Epitomized Path.

The fans want this

Well, it is this mechanic that fans want to see added to the standard Genshin Impact banner. In fact, Reddit user RydenReckless provided a series of images showing what this process would look like.

The idea has been met with much praise from the Genshin Impact community, with many noting how it would help the game in the long run. “I like this idea, especially since the character roster keeps growing and more characters are fighting for a replay,” said chrysaorae.

“I think after their third or fourth replay they could retire and be added to the standard banner if they implemented this.” It’s certainly an interesting idea and one that could make it into the game if the recent leaks of the banner replay are to be believed.

It remains to be seen if miHoYo will go ahead with these changes, so we’ll probably have to wait until version 2.3 or later to see if it is implemented.
