GTA The Trilogy remastered would have “the same graphics” as the original version
GTA fans eagerly await all the information about GTA The Trilogy after confirmation from Rockstar Games and promised modern game graphics improvements. But maybe the community should lower expectations a bit.
The remasters seem to be trending. In the last few months, we have heard all kinds of rumors, from Resident Evil 4 to Metal Gear. Therefore, few are surprised that Rockstar has jumped on the boat when it has great titles behind it.
Everything indicates that GTA The Trilogy will appear in December and will come with many renewed details. However, the subject of graphics is on the lips of many, but it seems that they will not be as great as many hope.
Filter claims GTA the Trilogy will look ‘the same’
It is well known that the Rockstar studio in Dundee has incorporated the original games made with Renderware to the Unreal 4 engine. Due to the age of the titles, it is not possible to rework their original engine due to stabilization problems. So, to what extent will we have some refreshed and modern graphics in GTA The Trilogy?
According to leaker GTACheaterMan, the remastering of the GTA trilogy “will look pretty much the same ” with “ slight improvements to the faces, better animations and better lighting in general ”. If so, it could be disappointing for many fans looking for realism like GTA 5 or even Red Dead Redemption 2.
However, the leaker himself also claims that improvements have been made to the current shooting mechanics to have a GTA 5 / GTA 4 feel. “The shot has an auto-aim mode that feels more like [GTA] IV and V, along with a classic mode with the old lock on controls.”
Similarly, GTACheaterMan also notes that the introductory price will be between $ 29.99-$ 39.99. Something that had worried many players.
Rockstar Games has yet to comment on this, but it is a matter of time before they give us more information.
